Before I had children I was always at the gym and in 2009, I ran the London Marathon. I felt physically fit but I wasn’t eating properly and lived on salads and low fat products. After having my third baby, I decided that I needed to tone up but I wanted to do this healthily. I have always been under the impression that dieting meant depravation – being starving and only eating low fat foods. I then found out about Girl Got Glow and it has changed my whole lifestyle.
I was already a vegetarian but following Abbey’s delicious recipes has shown me that a plant-based diet makes me feel stronger and healthier. Since following the 60 day plan, my skin looks amazing, I feel energized (this is hard to feel with a 5 month old baby) and I wouldn’t go back to my previous diet. My children also love the recipes and they are very family friendly.
Abbey is really easy to talk to on the phone and offers lots of advice with regards to exercise and snack ideas as this was often my downfall.
I feel so much better and this is my lifestyle now, not a diet.
